    موضوع فلسفۀ فیلم عرصه‌ای از تحقیقات فلسفی و زیبایی‌شناختی است که با سرعت زیادی رو به پیشرفت است. فلاسفه هم بر موضوعات زیبایی‌شناختی در رابطه با فیلم‌ها به عنوان یک رسانۀ هنری – فلسفۀ فیلم – و هم بر پرسش‌های مربوط به محتوای فلسفی فیلم‌ها – فیلم به عنوان فلسفه – تاکید و تمرکز داشته اند. با افزایش شمار فیلسوفانی که فیلم را به طور جدی به عنوان موضوعی برای تحقیقات و پژوهش‌های فلسفی در نظر می‌گیرند، ظرافت و مهارت و کمیت نقش‌های کمک‌کننده در هر دو این زمینه‌ها همچنان رو به افزایش است.

    از آنجا که فیلم و رسانه‌های دیجیتال مرتبط به آن همچنان به لحاظ تاثیرگذاری بر زندگی انسان‌ها ادامه می‌دهند، می‌توان انتظار داشت که فلسفۀ فیلم تبدیل به یک عرصۀ حتی حساس‌تر برای پژوهش‌های فلسفی شود. در سال‌های پیش رو، می‌توانیم انتظار اقدامات ابتکاری و جدیدی در جهت کمک به این عرصۀ هیجان‌انگیز از تحقیقات فلسفی را داشته باشیم.

  • Conclusions and Prognosis

    The philosophy of film is a rapidly growing area of philosophical and aesthetic research. Philosophers have concentrated both on aesthetic issues about film as an artistic medium — the philosophy of film — and questions about the philosophical content of films — films as philosophy. The sophistication and quantity of contributions in both of these areas continue to increase, as more philosophers take film seriously as a subject for philosophical investigation.

    As film and its related digital media continue to expand in their influence upon the lives of human beings, the philosophy of film can be expected to become an even more vital area for philosophic investigation. In the coming years, we can look forward to new and innovative contributions to this exciting area of philosophical research.
